Video Nasty: Light plane crashes into Ferris wheel in Australia
An ultra-light plane crashed into a Ferris wheel at a rural festival in eastern Australia on Saturday, trapping two children on the ride and two people in the aircraft for hours. There were no serious injuries. The Cheetah S200 carrying two men did not topple the Ferris wheel when it hit the frame near the top on the first morning of an annual three-day festival at Old Bar, a coastal village 220 miles (350 kilometres) north of Sydney. Two children were trapped in a carriage at the top of the wheel near the wrecked plane for 90 minutes. The 53-year-old pilot and his 32-year-old passenger were trapped inside the mangled aircraft more than 30 feet (10 meters) above the ground for almost three hours. SYDNEY, Australia (WUSA/CBS) -- A video of a teen body-slamming a bully has gotten the world's attention. The boy's name is Casey Heynes. According to reports, Heynes had been bullied by a group of boys at Chifley College High School in St. Mary's, Australia for a while. The video shows two bullies throwing punches at Heynes, before he grabs the second boy and slams him to the ground. "He's not a violent kid; it's the first time he's lashed out and I don't want him to be victimized over that," Casey's father told the Sydney Telegraph on Tuesday. "He's always been taught never to hit. Apparently, other people's parents don't teach their kids that." A spokeswoman for the NSW Department of Education and Training at Chifley College, Dunheved Campus, the Australian high school said, "does not tolerate any violence and deals with all cases according to its community-agreed discipline code." "Both students in a fight at the school shown on the Internet have been suspended ... the only injury sustained was a grazed knee."
