A pilot at 74 years of age is to old to be racing. He wouldn't be able to be a commercial pilot, air force pilot or even a formula one car driver not because of age but due to a slowing of reflex reaction time. The air force especially looks for young men who can take the rigors of high performance flying which also include loading the body up with G forces.
